While doing all of the above I somehow managed to break my neck! I can't pinpoint the actual moment but I managed it just the same. The days following this my back felt terrible when I was modding and after several days I could only manage to sit up for an hour at a time before the pain got too much.
I eventually went to the doctor to beg for some sexy pain killers only to see his face drop after examining my neck. Lots of pokes, prods, scans and x-rays followed and I was eventually bedridden for the next 3 months.
It's getting better but still bloody hurts and forces me to lie down on a frequent basis but at least I get to do some modding!
It drove me completely nuts having to lie down in a bed watching Youtube and Netflix for what seemed like forever. Alas, I was able to write so write I did. In fact, I wrote an entire book which will be published soon on Amazon books (awaiting photos)
What was it you ask? A book on modelling? modding? AI? Nope. It's a book on my other passion in life. Snails. I've always loved snails, the way they move, eat and their little cute faces when they look at you.
I have 100's of them. All the same species in several tanks around my work study/ computer room. As I've been interested in them (and many other animals) since I was a young boy I appear to know quite a bit about them. I decided to put it all down in writing and before I knew it I had a complete book. I suppose you don't have to be completely useless when you're stuck in bed and can hardly move a muscle after all.
After all that, I am pleased to announce... (drum roll please. It's only taken me a year!)
As I'm still a bit broken in places I won't be doing anything too fantastic but I will certainly be improving the ruin in regards to the vanilla offering.
Not making any promises this time but I should imagine I will release it before the end of February.
