Gwen

Gwen's Cuirass - Thus far. Maybe.

This is the design I've come up with so far... it may change (probably). Aleister has kindly offered to rig it for her so I can concentrate on other things.

My good friend Mateus is going to texture it so no need to hide your eyes away from my awesome texturing abilities!

I "might" get around to make a full set if I'm not too busy with other things but for now, cuirass will just have to do.

A few days more...

That's it. If you haven't released a mod by now then you best be quick about it. Only 4 days left to get yourself into the Modathon!

This my latest offering and believe me, it was a royal pain in the arse. I didn't realise that because Morrowind just scales everything when you change a race, that includes the gap between the foot mesh and the ankle!

Not sure if I got it 100% right but I'm considering this a work in progress and would really like to do them all eventually.

Get it here; Common Shoes Pack

I'm blaming Gwen for this, why not? I made her a pair of shoes and then spotted the horrible club feet everyone else possessed and had to at least try and change that.

Speaking of Gwen....she's on hold at the moment for the last days of the Modathon but I left her last, building her own/ player home.

When I say building I mean, building. each phase of the construction will need to be completed and paid for, and the builders do like a drink or two.

We shall see how that turns out later.

Last week of Modathon

The last week of Modathon approaches and we've seen some awesome mods this year. The massive use of MWSE has given modders freedom to do crazy and interesting things and they haven't disappointed (I'm talking about you Merlord). I'm still expecting some cool stuff from the modders that have been quiet until now, but one can only hope.

As I've been modding myself I haven't had time to see many of the creations further than the description page on Nexus but I already have a few that float my boat.

Remiros's Ground Cover (Flash) and Stripes Centurion Bomber are two that spring to mind.

I fell in love with the little rocks the ground cover adds here and there and he has the shading just right for every region. Well done mate!

After seeing the video for Stripes Bomber man I immediately thought of DRP and I'm still trying to think how I can work them in for a fun part of a dungeon.

Another mod that really struck as pretty awesome was Dangerous Lava by Articus. This just looks fantastic when compared to vanilla and any others that have improved this effect.

I will be making and adding a video of the lava later - The damn sun is stopping me right now as I can't see anything on my screen.

As for me, I'm still working on Gwen, slowly but surely and, grandchildren not helping.

Keep on modding everyone!

May Modathon

Super impressive!! A record number of mods has already been uploaded and there are 24 days left to go.

Keep it up modders.

As I have no intention of releasing Gwen or the Dwemer ruin I have ready getting lost in the onslaught of new mods I've been at a loose end. That means I've been modelling and damn it feels good to hold that mouse again.

Here are a few mods I've put up on Nexus for the Modathon;

Of course, I'm not just going to make models for 31 days so here are a few that are a little different;

I let this one sneak in

As you see I've been a little busy and all these can be found on Nexus - HERE

Keep on modding guys! You're doing a fantastic job.

Happy Birthday!!!

May 1st. A conflicting day for me indeed. What do I love the most? Morrowind, Modathon or My daughter. Well, it's a tough one but there is, of course, no real competition.

17 years ago today Morrowind found its way onto the shelves of all the computer games stores (remember when we had shops?) and into the hearts of many a gamer.

Morrowind itself deserves a May Modathon badge for longevity and I deserve one just for putting up with my little girl and letting her get to 21 without me killing her.

Due to my current project (Gwen) and all the wonderful things May brings for me (daughter's 21st, Wife's birthday, best friends birthday, an 80th etc) it is doubtful I will be joining in with the Modathon to any great extent but at least this year I will be spending May in England instead of Portugal and I do have something ready to go.

Now I feel like a proper old bastard!

"May your death be swift and your days be many"

I've neglected Morrowind once again! The neck went wonky and I couldn't sit here wasting my life but...I did get a chance to finish ...
